If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?

If I could have any superpower, I would choose the ability to bring people together into enduring relationships. I believe that together, we are capable of accomplishing feats that are otherwise impossible for individuals. By fostering strong connections, we can create a powerful network that enhances collaboration and productivity.

What are you most excited and concerned about in advanced energy developments?

I am most excited about technological changes that allow for distributed generation that can improve a community's resilience while strengthening our nation's capacity to withstand disruption. I am most worried that those advances are pushing responsibilities for developing and managing those very technologies that improve a community's resiliency, but the community's lack the resources to adequately preserve the value of the assets.

How did the military influence your career trajectory into energy?

As a veteran, my military experience played a pivotal role in shaping my career path towards the renewable energy sector. Upon witnessing the environmental impact of conventional energy sources during my service, I grew increasingly passionate about finding sustainable alternatives. The discipline and problem-solving skills I gained in the military seamlessly translated into the complex challenges of renewable energy implementation. Inspired by my fellow veterans, I saw an opportunity to continue serving my country by advocating for clean energy solutions that would not only protect the environment but also enhance our national security.
