Currently serving as the Chief Operations Officer for SunGrid, Ken plays an instrumental role in building, deploying, commissioning, and energizing BESS units. During his time in the Navy, he was deployed to the Middle East and actively participated in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm.

He completed a four-year Electrical Technology Program and has spent 30 years working as an electrician in various commercial, industrial, and residential applications. His dedication to his craft even led him to co-own an electrical contractor company. Time Travel would be the power I would choose as it would allow me to witness historical events firsthand, meet relatives, and experience different eras which could provide an opportunity for learning and a better understanding of the past. I could intervene in critical moments to help others and make a positive impact.

What are you most excited and concerned about in advanced energy developments?

I am most excited about the potential of advanced energy developments to make energy more affordable and environmentally friendly. However, I also have genuine concerns that key decisions about these changes might be in the wrong hands, which could potentially compromise progress and hinder the transition to a sustainable future.

How did the military influence your career trajectory into energy?

My experience in the military provided me with the necessary skills and mindset to seamlessly transition into the energy sector, specifically in the realm of renewable energy.
