TerraPower sponsors Veterans Advanced Energy Week, August 10 - 13

TerraPower (www.terrapower.com) joins Veterans Advanced Energy Week as a sponsor in support of veterans and military spouses working to strengthen US national security through careers in the advanced energy industry. TerraPower is a nuclear innovation company striving to improve the world through nuclear energy and science.

TerraPower was founded by Bill Gates and a group of like-minded visionaries that decided the private sector needed to take action in developing advanced nuclear energy to meet growing electricity needs, mitigate climate change and lift billions out of poverty. Advanced reactors and other isotopic applications are now possible with technology and enhanced computing capabilities that were unimaginable a few decades ago. 

Veterans Advanced Energy Week is scheduled August 10-13, 2020. Participants will gain insights into the technology, policy, and economic trends that are driving the global energy transition from senior leaders and experts across industry, academia, and government. Opportunities will also be provided to help participants develop networks with other veterans, supporters, and potential employers through company introductions, a resume database, and job board postings.
