American Resilience Project to host environmental film screening during Veterans Advanced Energy Week, August 2-6, 2021

The American Resilience Project (www.amresproject.org) will host a virtual screening of its newest film Nation in Transition on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 6:00, followed by an expert panel discussion with film director Roger Sorkin.

About NATION IN TRANSITION: Nation in Transition explores the coal-to-renewables transition on the Navajo Nation and across northern Arizona through the stories of workers, their families and communities, business and tribal leaders, utility executives, policy makers and environmental activists. The film offers a roadmap for accelerating and navigating just energy transitions for workers and communities everywhere. Watch the trailer below!

Veterans Advanced Energy Week is scheduled August 2-6, 2021. Participants will gain insights into the technology, policy, and economic trends that are driving the global energy transition from senior leaders and experts across industry, academia, and government. Opportunities will also be provided to help participants develop networks with other veterans, supporters, and potential employers through company introductions, a resume database, and job board postings.
