Truman Center's OPERATION FREE sponsors Veterans Advanced Energy Week, August 2-6, 2021

The Truman Center for National Policy and OPERATION FREE (www.operationfree.net) joins the 2021 Veterans Advanced Energy Week as a Silver Sponsor in support of veterans and military spouses working to strengthen US national security through careers in the advanced energy industry.

About Operation Free: Operation Free is a coalition of veterans and national security experts who believe oil dependence and climate change pose threats to our national security. The Truman Center for National Policy is an education and research institution dedicated to offering timely, innovative and principled national security solutions. It envisions an inclusive US foreign policy that makes American lives better because it advances democracy, human rights, prosperity and security at home and abroad. Veterans Advanced Energy Week is scheduled August 2-6, 2021. Participants will gain insights into the technology, policy, and economic trends that are driving the global energy transition from senior leaders and experts across industry, academia, and government. Opportunities will also be provided to help participants develop networks with other veterans, supporters, and potential employers through company introductions, a resume database, and job board postings.
