Ken Oltmann / U.S. Department of Energy

Happy Veterans Day to all those who serve, served, or support those who do. We wish you a peaceful day of reflection and a fulfilling life for the future. We're here to help you make the most of your post-military career and are glad to have connected along the way. Stay tuned for upcoming announcements about the 2020 Veterans Advanced Energy Summit and the Atlantic Council's new Veterans Advanced Energy Project.

We are also pleased to be featured today in the Midwest Energy News along side several of our key sponsors and partners like Exelon, Invenergy, GlidePath, and the Clean Energy Leadership Institute.

“While we are at all-time low unemployment for military veterans, underemployment continues to be a big problem — that is, being underutilized, overqualified, or unfulfilled,” Misch said. “Understanding how a job in clean energy is contributing to our energy security can help a veteran feel good about going to work every day.”
